Candidate #2: Ahmad Bradshaw (RB)

Bradshaw is sure to see a much increased work load from his 08 campaign. During his rookie year Bradshaw received the bulk of the carries in the postseason because of injuries to Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Ward. He flashed great ability to juke and cut defenders, and also showed surprising strength and power for his size. Ahmad was limited to only 67 carries in 2009 because the emergence of 1,000 yard back Derrick Ward. Now that “The Wind” has gone to Tampa, Bradshaw will get more of an opportunity to showcase his talents.

2009 Projections

  • Rushing Yards – 800
  • Touchdowns – 3
  • Receiving Yards – 250

I agree.
For sure Bradshaw will have a breakout year and with a more larger load of carries, I'm sure he can pull off as close/better complementary back for Jacobs. But don't leave out Ware because I think he is going to be a big impace on this years season.
