NFL releases 2009 schedule

AUTHOR: joescro | IN: Giants | COMMENTS: 3 Comments |

The Giants have a total of five prime times games, including one on Thanksgiving against the Cutlerless Broncos. They also start and end the regular season with the same opponents as 2008. Starting the season at Giants Stadium against the Redskins, and ending the season against the Panthers and then at Minnesota.

Their bye is during week ten (almost midseason) which is ideal. New York finishes the season with a very tough five game stretch against the Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, Panthers, and Vikings. It’s imperative the Giants come out of the first half of the season with a record of 6-3 or better.
