people who say eli doesnt deserve that money are not only ignorant they arent able to see how well he deals with the intangibles during a game. changing the protection at the line, changing the play at the line, staying even keiled the entire game (not getting too high, not getting too low) so he can get the ball in the fourth quarter with the confidence to win the game, all of the dramatic fourth quarter drives he has orchestrated since becoming our quarterback his rookie season, and the fact that is just getting better (being selected to his first pro bowl last year). I dont know who this clown is who writes this blog but i tell you what i am no longer subjecting myself to his stupidity and going the read mike garafolo's blog.

Eli definitely deserves it. No question. Even if he doesn't win another Super Bowl (God forbid), I'm still satisfied with the 2007 season. Let's face it, nothing he does on the football field will ever top 18-1. Nothing. Plus, just think back to the mid-90's when they didn't have a legit QB. Those teams were painful to watch. With Eli (and a ridiculous running game) they have a chance to win every week.

That being said, he kind of looked like $hit against the Iggs. Granted the play calling was sub-par and Philly ALWAYS plays them tough, but Jesus H. Christ Eli beat the MFing Eagles!!!

Eli deserves it -- and i dont blame him for the Eagles loss. I blame the guys on the sidelines not giving Jacobs the ball 10-15 more carries. I blame the guys not calling a dynamic set of plays, no short passes, no crossing routes with steve smith, no kevin boss getting more catches. i also thing the non-pressure on mcnabb was a huge factor -- not a single sack.

Eli throwing that interception was not really all his fault, great bait situation from A Samuel if you remember.
