G-Men need to bounce back

Posted by: Andrew Corselli

After that debacle in the Big Easy last week, the Giants need to regroup and figure out a way to thwart the Cards on Sunday.

Arizona has got one of the best run defenses in the league and one of the worst pass defenses. That could be a problem for the G-Men if Eli isn’t on his game. Giants Stadium is always a tough place to play with the swirling winds, but I think the D will hold old-man-Warner in check regardless.

“On Wednesday, you want to put the last game behind you and get ready for the next week,” Eli said today. No shit, if I was him I’d want to put that Saints game behind me too.

Also on Wednesday, linebacker Antonio Pierce left practice with an injured back. Hey, at least he didn’t shoot himself in the leg.

I think statistics make it looks like Arizona is better run stoppers then they are because they can be passed on. I think the Giants can run on them. I also think Arizona can pass on the Giants. I see a high scoring game. Not sure who to pick just yet.
