I agree with all the analysis, but Jacobs got the ball 11 times and averaged 6 and change a carry. Bradshaw 14 and only 39 yards. Jacobs needs the ball more... about 20-22 times and start wearing down defenses. I'm sick of Kildrive hitting the panic button and going to the deep pass and this stupid erratic shit when one run doesn't work. Eli is a 21-27 pass attempt kind of qb who manages games. IDK where Gilbride gets his Tom Brady label for Eli from but it's not working. RUN THE DAMN BALL and hit some quick slants.

GiantsCauseway,
I couldn't agree more. Coughlin better get his head out of his ass, and soon might I add. There's no excuse for not getting to paydirt on that last drive. Period. If you want to be a playoff (let alone a Super Bowl) team you have to get 7 there. You get a TD there and the game is over and done with; no last-second heroics from Phil. A TD there means the team is 6-3 and right in the mix in the NFC East...Now I don't know what they are.

Tom Coughlin made Norv Turner look like a coaching guru. That is so pathetic, excuse me while I hang myself.

Furthermore, I agree Tynes is a bunghole and they should get rid of him. No doubt. However, I don't necessarily think kickers are a dime a dozen...just ask Mike Vanderjagt. But you're right, something needs to be done about Tynes. People seem to forget he almost cost the G-Men that NFC Championship game against the Packers. Granted he eventually won it, but not without giving me (and probably a lot of others) a heart attack.

If Coughlin doesn't think Jacobs can get a yard on 4th down then get a new back, a new line or a new line coach. I'm tired of Coughlin, Mister tough- guy is always Mr. Chicken in a game. The shine is off the Super Bowl ring buster.

Tynes is a liability, kickers are a dime a dozen.

I find is amazing that the Chargers can pass 40 times, the Giants blitz on nearly every attempt with pro-bowl linemen & there isn't a single solitary holding call, NOT ONE! San Diego must have the best O -line EVER! The one that backs got 34 yards behind in 15 carry's, that O-line.

The failure to take a shot in the end-zone & settle for 3 is unconscionable. This is what happens when you don't put teams away. You nearly did it in KC & you did it today. Playing not to lose never works.

The G-Men did look better as that game went on, so that's something to build on. I just hope they don't lay down over the second half of the season. Watching the Giants lose is painful.

Webster isn't as bad as I made him out to be, I shouldn't have said that about him. It was just emotions after that loss. That being said, he did look like trash against the Eagles and had a couple of botched plays Sunday...among others. It isn't completely his fault as the secondary is dinged up, but he needs to step up.

I disagree about the Jacobs/Bradshaw thing. I think that if Bradshaw got involved earlier it could have been a different outcome. Though I have nothing against Jacobs (he's clearly the better back, no question), I think Ahmad needs to get involved more.

Regardless, the team needs to get their act together during the bye and come back strong to beat the Falcons on the 22nd.

huh.....agreed this was a crushing loss but what are you talking about with giving Bradshaw more touches. He was completely ineffective while Jacobs was averaging 6 yards per carry. They should have stuck with the run but more with the big guy. Also Webster didnt have a poor game but this guy doesnt suck. Since our safeties are so bad they have to single up Webster on the oppositions best receiver. Jackson is basically a top 5 receiver in the league.
