He's so fast and always torches the G-Men...But there's no doubt injuries are playing a big part in the play of the secondary and the D as a whole. I think because of that Sheridan won't get fired this year...but this time next year he'll get the ax. Mark it down. Also, we can set our watch to another Dallas slide (it is December), so the Giants do have a realistic shot at the playoffs...The question is: can my heart take another Giants-Eagles playoff game. The answer: not with this Giants defense. Yeah, DeSean Jackson is a beast. Though, to be fair, there are personnel issues on defense too....injuries, players out of position, players underachieving, players not knowing their assignments (okay, that's on Sheridan)..something's not right...I think maybe his schemes are too complex for the players to understand. Like Mike Ditka would say, "just go out there and hit somebody in the mouth." And for fuck sake, get some pressure on the damn QB. That and the fact that we had zero answers for DeSean Jackson was pretty much the game.
