Well considering the Jets....Making the playoffs is a very big deal. Even if they never win another the SB.

Sanchez is never going to be a fantasy stud, but he did lead the team to a 4-1 finish over in the 5 games he played in at the end of the season. Not too bad. Also, the 3 picks were in the one loss. I'm not saying that he is a great quarterback, but he did lead his team to the playoffs and the AFC championship game. Just saying... don't be a hater.

Mr. D,
It is not hating, here are the facts: In the last 6 weeks of the season, Sanchez threw 3 touchdowns and 7 picks, Sanchez did not take his team to the playoffs, he was on a team with a great defense and strong running game which made the playoffs. Do I think Sanchez will end up being a god quarterback, probably, but he was not a good quarterback last year.

Don't be a hater. Sanchez played decent down the stretch and played well in the playoffs. A win is a win, and the Giants didn't have enough wins last year to even make the playoffs.

First things first,
The Jets made the playoffs despite Mark Sanchez, not because of Mark Sanchez. Then, the Jets allow Thomas Jones to leave and bring in Tomlinson for more money, Jones was coming off of his best season, was popular in the locker room, and has not shown signs of decline, whereas Tomlinson is fighting whispers about age, lack of explosiveness and injuries. I am not saying Tomlinson won't be a good contributor on third down, I am just saying for the same money, give me Thomas Jones.

Since when did this blog become an anti-Jets blog? The Jets have made some decent moves in the off-season, and should likely improve. LT should be a good second option in the backfield for the Jets. The days where LT is a first round fantasy football pick are long gone, but he should still be able to contribute. While you may not like Sanchez, he did make the playoffs last season...
