Via The National Football Post, the Dolphins fired ST Coach John Bonamego:

"The Miami Dolphins had seen enough of special teams coach John Bonamego’s work.Bonamego was fired today and replaced by special teams assistant Darren Rizzi after special-teams breakdowns led to 21 points in a 41-14 loss ot the New England Patriots.“I truly appreciate everything Bono has done for us,” Sparano told reporters today. “I think he’s an outstanding coach and a hell of a person and a really good friend. It’s a hard decision to make because he’s a hell of a guy and I know how hard this guy works. Nobody works harder than him at what he does. ..“Special teams is a hard area because I think there’s a lot of hands involved in that area,” Sparano said. “Players have some responsibility in that area too, and the players change a lot in that area. … Our players also need to take responsibility.”"

Should Tom Coughlin and Jerry Reese follow suit?  Let it be known, feel free to vent about the Giants special teams in the comments.
