Absolutely and with last night's win over the Colts (sorry to see it happen to Eli's big brother),they'll be even more confident and eager to go out and beat division rivals to demonstrate their pride (as if anyone ever doubted that pride exists in Dallas). They'll be tough to beat next year, but right now all I care about is two Philly losses and they're the best

With the momentum that the Cowboys have continued to build on since Jason Garrett took over as interim coach they just might come up big. Two straight wins and a very good performance against the New Orleans Saints says that they are definitely not going down without a fight. It should be interesting.

Great article. Nicely tailored around the fives.
My new saying of the day, week and month: "the Cowboys are out of playoff contention... I just like saying it."
Oh Yeah!

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the feedback. Ware returned for us once this year, last week. He returned 4 times for a total of 89 yards. He was used in kickoff return situations. What is interesting to note is that his return average from last week is 22.3 yards per return. That is right in the same area as Domenik Hixon, excluding 2008 where Hixon averaged a whopping 60.0 yards per return on 3 return situations. You can see why he got the job in 2009.

Hixon was predicted to be the Giants' top receiver this year. Then he got injured, NIcks got the job and you know the rest. If Ware can keep up his return performance he might find himself with the return job next year.

While Hixon hold the single season return record for Big Blue, it may be in their best interest to keep Hixon's chances of another injury limited. Using him as a receiver exclusively will do just that. Let's keep in mind that Ware had one decent return game before getting too optimistic. Hopefully, we see some consistency from Ware on returns. The Giants sure could use it.

The Cowboy's are out of playoff contention. Don't tell JJ that, he thinks they still have a shot at home field advantage for the SB.

You failed to mention Ware returning kickoffs. Big differnce in that while he may not break one he will hold on to the ball and at least get us to the 30 yd line.

Even though this is a division game, and you must always respect the opponent, really think the Deadskins are weak coming in. Yes McNabb is capable, but look for the G men to use multiple blitz packages that will limit him Sunday. That and we should really control the time of possession in this game. Need to perfect that for the next game with the Eagles
