Derek Hagan Will Need A Strong Showing Against Eagles

If Steve Smith and Mario Manningham cannot go Sunday against the Eagles, Derek Hagan will be the #2 receiver.  I have no doubt that Hakeem Nicks will be doubled, and TE Kevin Boss will also draw significant coverage.  For better or worse, Eli Manning has shown repeatedly that he prefers to take his options downfield with his receivers than dump it off to Jacobs or Bradshaw out of the backfield.  That means Derek Hagan will have to come up huge for the Gmen at home Sunday in what is sure to be the biggest game of the year for both teams — the Eagles at the Giants.
