If we beat the skins (as we should) but the bears (who don't have much to play for) lose, the real calamity will be the lasting effect that 4Q meltdown had on the team. I don't think they've gotten over it yet and they might not the chance until next year.
Funny thing about us Giants fans though; hope springs eternal. I guess it's the captivating memories of fantastic drives and dominating defenses from years gone by that have been stored in our psyche. So, let's see what tomorrow brings:-)

As the start of the 4th quarter began in the Giants/eagles 2 game, I couldn't have felt more proud. We were kings of the universe at that moment in Giants Stadium. There's ony one thing that will be able to match or top that feeling now and that is a fairy tale ending.

I doubt we will see one. I do not rule it out and remain hopeful. I agree that the G-Men must do themselves proud. They'll pull it out against the Skins. My biggest concern is the Chicago game. That could be calamitous also. ; 0 )

It's too late for them to "do us proud". They were well on their way in the second Philly game with that, but then Chernobyl Part 2 happened. The best we can hope for is that they do themselves proud, show up with and maintain desire for 60 min.

calamitous- nice word:-)
