The film studying shows with Collinsworth, in the pregame matchup analysis he has prepared the keys to the game for each team and often the things to watch for will crop up during the game, whether it be offense or defense. I have been impressed with his analysis over the last few years for sure

The thing about Chris Collinsworth is that he LOVES to watch film. I recall seeing a piece on him some time ago about this very thing. he has a dedicated "war room" in his house and spends countless hours in there watching highlight reels and such. He is the official voyeur of the NFL. It is because he watches so much film, and is well versed because of it, that I feel his analysis is reliable. That is not to say that Howie Long or Boomer do not watch as much. I just do not know HOW much they watch in comparison. It's too bad Phil Simms didn't make this conference call. He was slated to be there but was a no show for whatever reason.

Every game Collinsworth has called in recent memory - I've really liked his read on things. He gets to the point with his analysis and has fun with it at the same time... I always like hearing his opinion on things. Good company aside
