I agree totally. That's why I wouldn't say he broke any Ohio State Rules, because I believe they are compliant in all of this as is the NCAA. But as he moves forward with his life, he needs to surround himself with better people and make better decisions. There are players such as Charles Woodson who played by the rules, and gives back to the University for all the success it allowed him to have in life. The education is important, and sometimes you have to work FOR someone, in order to get yourself in a position to be successful. I know the system stinks, and the NCAA and BCS are probably the most corrupt organizations in the world, but until someone gets them in to a court of law somewhere...they wlil continue to make the rules.

J.T. I understand your synopsis of the situation, but in all honesty Terrelle hasn't done anything that 80% of the marquee players in the NFL hasn't done in college. Past and Present.

It's wrong how the media villianizes these Athletes, while the universities make MILLIONS of dollars off of NCAA football and negotiate MULTI-MILLION dollar TV contracts for "AMATUER" atheletics, but if the players accept a $1.00 from anyone or accept anything, they are criminals from the "hood". What about the coaches? What about the shady agents? Why villanize the kid?

It's not right. College football is big business, where the key individuals are the only ones not getting paid, they use the fact that their getting a "FREE" education, but that shouldn't be the only premise for them USING these kids to generate millions of dollars per season. AMATUER sports don't generate MILLIONS of dollars, professional sports DO. Let's stop calling college ATHLETICS amatuer when you pay coaches millions of dollars and generate millions per season.

What would the NCAA do if when OSU and MICH meet the players all sit in the middle of the field and do nothing at kickoff? What would happen?

Im sure in every NCAA football program there is something that could be considered a violation that could jeopardize the whole program but it's not getting noticed because it's being secretly kept a secret, or the school isn't winning.
