MetLife Stadium To Be The New Meadowlands?

According to PFT, it looks as if MetLife has nearly completed a deal for the rights to name the Giants and Jets ‘brand new’ stadium.

"Following a season where the New Meadowlands Stadium essentially went nameless, MetLife is closing in on a $17-18 million-per-season arrangement for a full naming rights deal."
In the spirit of the opening sequence of Baseketball, part of me hates to see “The Meadowlands” name set sail. But part of me is also cognizant of the fact that the Giants and Jets could get almost $20 million a year for MetLife to slap their name on the building where their teams play — not to shabby. But how do you feel about it?
