Rob Ryan Calls Eagles All-Hype, Says Cowboys Will Beat Their Ass

In a move straight out of the Tom Coughlin trash talking playbook (I kid) the Cowboys new defensive coordinator Rob Ryan — who may or may not be related to the effervescent and loose lipped coach of the NY Jets Rex Ryan (Again, I kid) — had this to say about his team facing the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011:

"“These are proven players, and that’s what we need. I don’t know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we’re going to beat their ass when we play them.”"

Of course, he never actually mentioned the Eagles, but based on the marquis of names the Birds have signed this week who else could he be talking about? I hope they do beat them, twice. And I hope the Giants beat the Cowboys and Redskins twice each because I’ve lost all hope that the Giants can actually close one out against the Eagles anymore.
