Cowboys CB Terence Newman Out 4-6 weeks With Groin Injury, Cowboys could be out $8 million

Groin injuries are no joke, and this could spell trouble for the Cowboys and go much longer than 6 weeks. At best, that’s the start of the season, Newman would be completely missing camp with this injury. And frankly, this is only newsworthy on a Giants site because of the way Rotoworld worded the news:

"Cowboys LCB Terence Newman is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a groin injury sustained in Wednesday’s practice.Newman hopes to return for the opener, but that’s optimistic considering his injury. Newman also missed the start of the 2008 season with a groin injury. The Cowboys have to be kicking themselves for counting on the 32-year-old Newman to stay healthy while collecting $8 million this season."

Just picture Jerry kicking himself over this…. what I wouldn’t do to be a fly on the wall in that room when he actually got his leg around to his backside.
