Rumor: Osi Offered New Incentives By NY Giants

A rumor is floating around this afternoon despite reports that no headway has been made in the contract situation regarding Osi Umenyiora and the NY Giants. The rumor seems to be stemming from ESPN Radio in which the Giants would put up an additional amount of money if Umenyiora recorded significantly higher sack numbers than last year, 15 is the number of sacks in question. The counter offer is rumored to be no additional money if the Giants let Umenyiora out of his contract after this year.
