Nothing to fear in GMEN nation, Giants low key approach to free agency is poised for another great season. NY Giants 2000 NFC Championship team and 2007 Super Bowl team both had the same formula for success, build with a good draft and sign low risk free agents to fill in the positions of need. Guys like Lomas Brown, Michael Barrow, Antonio Pierce, Kawika Mitchell, were all considered at the time of signing; to be low risk high reward players. They were either closer to retirement or their respective former teams didn’t make an offer to stay. This year with the raves stemming from training camp it seems the Gmen have another decent draft class. We also hope the low key signing of little unknown offensive lineman David Baas will help us soon forget Super Bowl Warrior Shaun O’Hara.
No need for big time free agents.
