Binn Cut by Thunderbolts..

The San Diego Chargers cut Long Snapper David Binn on Tuesday according to NFL.COM.

SAN DIEGO — After accurately snapping the ball to San Diego Chargers kickers and punters since 1994, time finally ran out on seemingly ageless David Binn.

The Chargers decided Tuesday to release the 39-year-old Binn, the only player left from their 1994 Super Bowl team and Bobby Beathard’s tenure as general manager

The GIANTS placed their Long Snapper on IR on Tuesday, meaning Koets could not play until Week 7. With S/T being as shaky as it has been, I would not be surprised if the GIANTS brought Binn in for a look. In related S/T news, the rumor mill is turning that Chase Blackburn’s name has been mentioned internally within the organization. Chase was the S/T Captain last year.
