LMAO… The next Steve Smith from the Panthers… Terrible choice of comparison… He’s not as fast as Smith, he’s not an over the middle receiver like smith, and if you’re saying just leave him at wideout, then he has no flexibility like Steve Smith from the Panthers… U can line up steve Smith in the slot and wide, and he is consistent with catching the ball…

When Manningham is healthy, he is back to being the # 2 receiver. He is better, more experienced and bigger… Rotating, I am fine with, but Cruz will need to Step up as a slot receiver as well… If he can’t catch a slant pass then or adjust his route due to a blitz, then there’s a problem…

I agree, he’s got major upside out wide. in the slot — they dont need to limit his potential all game
