One cannot help to notice the names of three linebackers on the list for the Giants.  Chase Blackburn and Jacquian Williams will be out this week.  In steps Mark Herzlich, and his inspirational story.  His journey from ACC Player of the year to cancer victim, to cancer survivor, and now to a starter on defense for the Defending World Champions.  Good Luck Mark!  We wish you the best!

With Bear Pascoe listed as questionable, that means that rookie Adrien Robinson might see more playing time…We also might see Sean Locklear and David Diehl in the game together at times.

The next man up philosophy has been successful for the Giants so far this year….They need to keep it going to help replace some of their lost pieces.  The return of Kenny Phillips helps a lot because of the emergence of Stevie Brown.  With the possibility of all three safeties in the game at once against a very potent passing attack from the Steelers, this should give them more speed and coverage.
