It has been reported and confirmed by a source close to the negotiations that the Giants will re-sign restricted Free Agent TE Bear Pascoe to a one year deal.

Pascoe, listed at 6’5″ and 283 lbs, is an important piece of the offense for the Giants.  He can play TE, H-Back, and Fullback.  Having the ability to make one player the back up at two positions while he occupies the blocking TE end role as well makes the Giants more versatile.  Pascoe, who has played 50 games for the Giants has 26 receptions for 252 yards with 14 catches for first downs.

The team had 26 restricted or unrestricted free agents entering the off-season…When Pascoe signs his deal next week he will be the first step in forming the roster for the 2013 season.
