This would be a big step for the Giants if it is indeed true. Now to preface, last year we heard from Terrell that he was healthy and ready to go, was placed on IR and lost for the season. Thomas is a free agent and needs to be re-signed by the Giants. We will see if he is indeed fully healthy and if he can come back as a cornerback, or if he needs to move to safety because of his injuries.
And now this just in from Jenny Vrentas:
It sounds like Thomas’ new arrangement with the Giants is a one-year deal, but terms were not immediately available. Thomas is rehabbing in Pensacola, Fla., and wrote on his website last week that he was able to jog outside the pool for the first time.
Thomas is returning from a third surgery on his right ACL (the first was during his college career at USC). General manager Jerry Reese said on WFAN last month that Thomas may have to move from cornerback to safety because of the injuries.
