Giants Safety Stevie Brown Out For Season

It has finally been confirmed by many outlets, including Head Coach Tom Coughlin, that Saftey Stevie Brown who had 8 interceptions last season has been lost for the season.

Stevie intercepted rookie…and it showed how much of a rookie he was last night…Geno Smith of the Jets and went down awkwardly on the return.  Ryan Mundy, Cooper Taylor, and yes Terrell Thomas will see time at safety this week.  It has also been confirmed that defensive back Jayron Hosley who suffered an ankle tweak last night is NOT seriously hurt and Antrel Rolle will indeed return to practice this week.

A huge blow for the defense in that Stevie Brown was a true ball hawk and seemed to always be around the football when it was in the air.

We will miss you Stevie…Get well soon and we will see you back next year.
