Week 1 Halftime Report

Sep 8, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin prior to the game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT

Ugly, ugly, UGLY first half.

Giants had 3 turnovers in the first 6 minutes and 10 seconds of the game.

First play of the game, screen to Wilson picked off by Ware. Damage minimized by forcing Dallas to kick a FG

After a 57 yard catch and run by Nicks, 2 drops, and a Randle first down, Wilson fumbled his first touch on the Dallas 7.

Next possession, Eli threw it over the head of JJ and was interception.

*Dallas only has 3 points off of the three turnovers combined*

Giants defense has been doing real well on Dez Bryant, shading the safety over top (2 receptions 13 yards.)

Mundy had a 91 yard interception to the 1 yard line, offense stalls which doesn’t surprise me, settled for 3.

Cowboys running a lot of hurry up. Tired Giants defense.

Connor neck stinger, Herzlich in and gave Witten a TD

Prince/Mundy head on collision both out.

70 yard bomb to Cruz at the tail end of the half is the only Giants TD. Missed communication in Dallas secondary. He has two targets, one being a drop in the beginning of the game.

Romo hurt ribs on hit by Trattou and Kiwi. Orton came in at the end.
