Dan Connor’s first season as a Giant is over.

Dan Connor was placed on season ending IR Thursday thus ending his season, and putting the Giants in a tough situation.

Connor had a neck burner in pre season and also week 1 against Dallas, that’s why the team decided to shut him down.

To build up depth at the MLB position, the Giants were awarded Allen Bradford from Seattle.

Look for Herzlich to retake the starting spot in the middle of that Giants defense.

Obviously a huge blow to the Giants who are very weak at linebacker to begin with, and with Peyton and the Broncos coming up, a leader and signal caller for the defense is paramount for success.

In other news the Giants resigned receiver Marcus Harris and cut Steven Baker.
