Bears @ Eagles -3 — O/U 56

The Eagles five-game win streak ended last week in Minnesota. They were drubbed by a team that has played decent at home, as all their wins have come there (the first actually came as the home team in London). I looked at the teams that they beat along the way — their only quality win came at the Cardinals expense. Arizona hasn’t been that good on the road either. The Eagles beat a dome team that looked out of their element in the snow a couple weeks ago.

The Bears have struggled on the road. They got a win last week in Cleveland — a team many don’t see as particularly impressive — but they have made strides this season and may only be some good QB play from being a contender in the AFC North. The Bears also got their QB back last week. Cutler showed some rust, but made the plays necessary to win (on the road) when many felt that they should have stuck with McCown.

I still find it hard to believe the Eagles are good enough to be in the playoffs. Regardless, they will have a shot next week vs. Dallas for all the marbles. Chicago +3 on the road.
