At the end of the day… New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle is ticketed for Honolulu. Rolle will be active for his third Pro Bowl, serving as a replacement for Seattle’s Earl Thomas who will participate in Super Bowl XLVIII. Originally named an alternate on December 27th, Rolle was not pleased:

"Tell me which safety has better numbers and made more game changing plays than me this year???? I’ll wait!!!! This probowl s**t is a joke"

"— Antrel Rolle (@antrelrolle26) December 28, 2013"

While the “game changing” plays weren’t readily apparent, Rolle was rock solid all year. He played 1,155 snaps at strong safety, earning Pro Football Focus grades of 7.4 overall, 3.8 against the run and 4.3 in pass coverage. Furthermore, he intercepted six passes and opposing quarterbacks posted a 43.1 QB rating when throwing in his direction.

The Pro Bowl will be held on Sunday January 26th, airing on NBC at 7 PM EST.
