You’ve been watching that number one jersey since May…

Giants Nation, it happened.

Not only did the New York Football Giants comeback and take the lead against the Atlanta Falcons 24-20 in the fourth quarter. Your first round NFL draft pick decided to finally make his talented presence felt in the league.

In form of ONE touchdown, here’s the play from ESPN:

"3rd and 3 at ATL 15:(10:11) (No Huddle, Shotgun) E.Manning pass short left to O.Beckham for 15 yards, TOUCHDOWN. Penalty on ATL-R.Alford, Defensive Holding, declined. J.Brown extra point is GOOD, Center-Z.DeOssie, Holder-S.Weatherford."

Our reaction on Twitter:

It was no secret that the Giants needed Odell Beckham Jr. on the field, he’s a gridiron weapon that would make any NFL team better. Particularly a West Coast Offense football team like the one battling the Atlanta Falcons today. The G-Men desperately needed another playmaker to open up options for Eli Manning in the passing game. At least for today, in the fourth quarter, in a game that mattered, Odell Beckham Jr. proved to be just that. A difference maker.

Make no mistake the Giants needed this, it’s five game into the season, what better time to get a new weapon and try to make your way back to a 3-2 record and relevance. This is a must win game for the Giants. But also, it’s a celebration for a rookie that just got his first heavy dose of NFL end zone.

Here is OBJ’s twitter, be sure to congratulate him. Perhaps on a victory too, we’ll see…

OBJ has had the right attitude along the way, now is time for some pay-off. How about those Giants?

At the moment, it’s 27-20 with 2:55 left to go in the fourth quarter.
