The New York Giants will be looking for their third straight win this upcoming Sunday against the St. Louis Rams. The Giants are coming off a 24-13 win against the Washington Redskins thanks to their sensational rookie wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. The first-round pick grabbed 12 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns.

If the Giants want to continue their winning streak, then Beckham Jr. should be their game-plan. The Giants need a big game from the youngster in order to beat the Rams who are coming off a 12-6 loss against the Arizona Cardinals.

Beckham Jr. has stood out from the Giants’ receiving unit despite this being his rookie year. The offensive rookie of the year candidate has made Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning‘s life fairly easy these past two weeks as he received for 130 yards and a touchdown on 11 grabs the week before against the Tennessee Titans in a 36-7 win.

After Victor Cruz‘s horrific injury early in the season, Manning has found Beckham Jr. to be his top target.

Another thing that might be hurting the Rams mentally is the fact that they haven’t beaten the Giants since 2001; that’s over a decade. The Giants must take full advantage of Beckham Jr’s hot hands, especially against a weak Ram’s defense. The Giants also need to contain the Rams’ rushing attack to not fall behind in the game because once they do, it will be hard to come out on top.

Even though the NFL Playoffs are the out of reach for both squads, neither team wants another loss this season. The Giants must throw to the youngster in order to prevent a loss at St. Louis and continue to end the season on a high note.
