Heading into Super Bowl XLIX this Sunday, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski are expected to be integral pieces in their respective teams’ chances in coming out with a win. While both will not literally be colliding heads on the gridiron, both do dish out some punishment while carrying the rock as they both embrace physicality.

Both Lynch and Gronkowski have decided to face off against one-another in the digital world’s upcoming game-release of Mortal Kombat X which is set to drop on April 14 of this year.

It’s one of the most anticipated fighting games of 2015 so it only makes sense to put both Lynch and Gronkowski against each other.

Gronk is his usual self — lovable and jubilant. However, Lynch is completely different than the way that he presented himself during the Super Bowl media days over the course of the past couple of days. In the following video preview, he is much less aloof and is seen enjoying many laughs despite no Skittles being present within this meeting arrangement.

Late Night kingpin Conan O’Brien starts off spitting a beat as if a freestyle is about to occur. Lynch praises O’Brien’s rhythm right before the latter references to being on Lipitor. It’s funny to see Lynch out of the character most know him by of refusing to speak to the media and just be himself for a change.

This should be a pretty funny segment as this special episode will air on Thursday, January 29th 2015 at 11:00pm Eastern Time on TBS. Please be sure to tune in to catch it as it will be pretty hilarious! Plus it’ll put to rest who is the better gamer and who knows, maybe the winner will determine the next Super Bowl champions of the world!
