New York Giants: Graphic Designers Unveil New Helmet
When you think of the New York Giants you may think of things like pride, tradition, class, and a history of winning. These traits have made the Giants one of the most respected franchises in the NFL. But there is something special about the big white NY logo that graces the sides of the Giants helmet. That NY represents the essence of our great nation and it is captured perfectly in a concept helmet created by a group of talented graphic designers who put their own spin on helmets for all 32 NFL teams.
Deeyung Entertainment is the name of the graphic design company that created this amazing concept for our boys in blue. Take a look at all their redesigned NFL helmets, including the amazing Giants one by clicking here. The concept was so popular it was featured on the Giants’ official team website. The infamous Giants NY logo is draped in an American flag that spans across the entire helmet, giving an interesting take on the traditional blue helmet with the white logo and a red, white, and blue stripe traveling down the middle of the helmet.

It fits the Giants and New York perfectly because the Big Apple is easily the most recognizable American city and after September 11 2001, our great city exemplified what our nation is made of, guts, pride, strength and glory. New York showed the world that although you can knock us down, we as Americans will always get back up stronger than ever.
The same can be said for the Giants, who in 2007 and 2011 faced many trials and tribulations during their respective seasons, but when it became time to put up or shut up, the Giants, like New York City, showed the world why they are the best and won the Super Bowl despite being underdogs in both seasons.
The Dallas Cowboys may call themselves “America’s Team”, but it is the Giants who have gotten the job done against all odds and did it with the pride and grace that truly is the American spirit that lives inside each citizen. That is why the Giants are best suited to wear our nation’s colors proudly for the world to see.
Now this helmet is purely just a concept but it would be awesome for the Giants to maybe consider wearing this or something similar on special occasions like military appreciation night or for Week 1 of the regular season. It probably won’t happen and that is fine, it just would be refreshing to see Big Blue representing America in gracious fashion. That is, after all, what the Giants are all about.
