The 2016 NFL season has officially concluded for the New York Giants. Who were the most valuable and outstanding players on the roster during the 11-5 season?


Though the ultimate goal of winning a Super Bowl may not have been realized, the New York Giants had an outstanding season in 2016. In Ben McAdoo’s first year as head coach, the Giants ended the postseason drought and finally built a respectable defense.

For all that was accomplished during the 2016 NFL season, it’s only right that the players who made it possible be honored.

New York finished the 2016 regular season at 11-5—its best record since 2010. It made its first postseason appearance since 2011 and boasted one of the most dominant defensive units in the NFL.

From 6-10 in 2015 to 11-5 in 2016, the Giants made extraordinary process that was based around the emergence of a number of up-and-coming players.

The end-of-the-year awards are a display of just how promising the future is for the Giants. There are still questions to be answered and voids to be addressed, but Jerry Reese has built the foundation for success.
