With the draft nearing, the G-Men have several holes that need to be filled on both sides of the football.

At running back, the New York Giants lack a power back to grind out first downs and short yardage situations. Texas running back D’Onta Foreman is rising and could be a viable option to complement Paul Perkins in the backfield.

Linebacker B.J. Goodson has earned his opportunity to fight for the starting role at middle linebacker, but an addition through the draft shouldn’t be ruled out just yet. Vanderbilt’s Zach Cunningham and former Florida Gator Jarrad Davis show immense potential.

Both the defensive and offensive lines need support after the departure of Johnathan Hankins and the lackluster performance of the offensive line in 2016.

The Giants are in a much better position than they were last season, but nonetheless, let’s see how their needs grade out prior to the NFL draft.
