We invite you to join us in watching the upcoming playoff showdown between the New York Giants and Green Bay Packers with a select and exclusive group of fans on an exciting new iPad application called TV Dinner.

TV Dinner is one of the most exciting social experiences to come along in some time. Taking some of the best aspects of Twitter and Facebook, TV Dinner allows you to join other folks from across the world to watch and discuss television events in real time.

The brilliance of TV Dinner is that it cuts out the noise. Instead of wading through all the other chatter on Facebook and Twitter, the TV Dinner main menu breaks the conversation down by events.

Just log in with the email address associated with a facebook account and use the approval code NFLplayoffs and follow the on-screen instructions.

The messages, called “Nibbles” are shared with the rest of the group. If other users like your nibbles, they can vote for you by “Cherry Picking” it. You see, along with being a fun way to interact with other people enjoying the same event as you, TV Dinner is also a game. The “Leader Board” will flash periodically throughout the event showing the users who are getting the most votes from others. Users can even share their favorite content on Facebook!

Dinner Details: Giants v. Packers
Date: Sunday, January 15th
Time: 4:30pm to 5:15pm Eastern
Network: Fox

Enter your email address to receive special updates about upcoming “dinners”:

It isn’t very often that one of FanSided’s top 10 NFL blogs is looking for new leadership but that is the case with GMen HQ. Andrew Ilnicki has done a great job building this site but has decided to step down so we’re looking for a new editor. This is a great opportunity to take over an established blog in the New York City market.

Editors are required to post daily and manage a staff of at least five staff writers and the site’s social media accounts. The position is paid although candidates should be motivated by the opportunity to grow the site into the most popular team blog on the internet rather than money because this isn’t a full time job.

If you think you’re up to the task, prepare a writing sample of at least 500 words and include it in an email to Zac Snyder indicating your interest in the position.
