]]> The Super Bowl Champion New York Football Giants open training camp in Albany this year in just 13 days.  This should be a very entertaining training camp in that although this team is deep in talent, it has a lot of people fighting for a spot on the final roster.  Of course the new rules of allowing 90 players into camp has created some of this depth, and some guys will be used strictly as practice players.  But there will be competitions at Tight End, Offensive Line, Wide Receiver, Kick Returner, Punt Returner, Safety, Running Back, and of course Linebacker.

The message this year is going to be about momentum, playing as one unit, and improving on a 9-7 regular season.  Coach Coughlin wants every unit to reach it’s peak and play together as a team….the path begins in 13 days.
