Today was the suppose to be the day that Tom Coughlin, Perry Fewell, and Kevin Gilbride got fired. Well they didn’t (Fewell can still get fired though in my opinion) however, some other NFL coaches were not as lucky:

  • Bill Polian and Chris Polian were both fired in Indy. Caldwell is “safe” for now.
  • Raheem Morris was fired by Tampa. He went 17-31 in three years.
  • Steve Spagnuolo was canned by the Rams. He went 10-38 in three years.
I would love to see Steve Spagnuolo back with the GIANTS. Perry Fewell is probably “safe” unless the Falcons put up a big spot on the Giants this upcoming weekend. Spags will have multiple offers as DC within the league. In order for him to come to the GIANTS he may need to take a positions coach job and we all know that would be below him…Unless of course the Giants win the Super Bowl and Perry Fewell gets a Head Coaching job……
