As we count day the days until the Giants face the Patriots in the super, GMen Hq will be profiling the battle of the two cities: New York versus Boston (Yes, I know the Patriots are “New England” but for this matter they are Boston).

Today’s battle royal will stir the debate. Today we have the battle of the better radio station! Representing the greatest city in America is WFAN-660AM the Fan! Stepping up to the mat against the Fan is WEEI 93.7/850 Sports Radio. This appears to be a bloody beat-down initially. WFAN is the ESPN of sports-talk radio. WFAN premiered on July 1, 1987 and is powered by 50,000 watts of Class A power. The fan can be heard as far west as Indiana and as far south as the outer banks of NC. The fan is considered the grand daddy of them all in terms to sports talk radio! WEEI powered by 50,000 watts at the class B level was founded as a sports talk radio in 1994. WEEI is affiliated with the ESPN radio networks. WEEI is the home to the majority of Boston sports.

So who do you listen to? Who do you prefer?
