Chris Myers – C, 34-years-old
Longtime Texans starter Myers has lost a couple steps as a pass blocker, but he excels as a run blocker and would fit the Giants quite well should sophomore Weston Richburg flop in Training Camp. With so much uncertainty at almost every position along the offensive line, the Giants can’t be taking too many chances heading into the season—especially after the way the unit’s performed the last couple of years.
If Richburg is struggling and Myers is still available, I have to think the Giants will at least consider taking a look. The Giants have to give themselves a chance on the offensive line. Experience is huge.
