Jake Long – LT, 30-years-old
If there’s any player on this list the Giants are most likely to sign, it just might be Long. He’s had a tough go of it the last couple of seasons with injuries. Well, most of his career really. But I don’t know how much the injuries have really sapped his play. Probably some, but that’s yet to be determined.
With Will Beatty out and such little depth along the offensive line, Long could really help this team. The Giants are counting on Marshall Newhouse to man left tackle while Beatty’s out, and he’s really struggled the last couple of years.
Long may not just give the Giants a little help. The Giants may actually need Long. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him in New York this season.
