If Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t Odell Beckham Jr.

Few probably thought they’d see OBJ post a 5 catch, 44-yard line against Dallas. Not saying it’s a sign of things to come—Beckham Jr. still looked speedy, athletic, and electric—he’ll be just fine.

But no Victor Cruz a spotty run game, and some better competition—remember: OBJ was posting those huge lines late last season against the likes of Tennessee and Washington—and defenses will really get a chance to bare down on Beckham Jr. And it’ll give him a chance to show the league that he can take on consistent double teams and pair with Eli to carry an NFL offense.

It’s what he’ll have to do this Sunday and in more games going forward. Another 40-50 yard performance could lead to a second straight loss for New York.
