If the Giants Lose the Turnover Battle
Now, OK, yes—any team that loses the turnover battle has a significantly higher chance of losing in any game. But with Dan Quinn in charge of Atlanta’s D and Steve Spagnuolo running the show on the Giants side, I expect the offenses to be… not on their heels, but at the very least caught off guard at points with varied looks from defenses they haven’t had much time to study on film.
You could argue the Falcons have seen Spags’ defense before back in his first stint with the Giants, but with new personnel and the way the NFL has evolved, I’m not so sure Spags is running the same exact defense.
I expect points, but I also expect turnovers from both offenses just based on the fact each team will be running fresh defensive units that neither side may be accustomed to seeing. It could late to a late quarter interception, which could be the difference in this one.
