1. Free Agency

Some glorified window shopping is in order for a reloading New York defense sensibly intrigued by numerous Denver defensemen.

Linebackers Von Miller, Danny Trevathan and Brandon Marshall all headline the members of Denver’s No. 1 defense set to hit the open market. Defensive tackle Malik Jackson took it a step further on Thursday per New York Post, claiming “it’d be cool” to take his talents to the south of Staten Island.

“If I did have an opportunity to go there, it would be cool to reunite with my boy Robert Ayers.” – Malik Jackson

Should New York’s sack-leader Robert Ayers (9.5 in 2015) be retained, it would be beneficial to infuse chemistry and competency in the front seven with some of his former Broncos teammates. After Ayers, they’re top three unrestricted talents are either preparing for a bigger payday elsewhere (Jasper Brinkley), mulling retirement (Beason) or fixed in an ongoing rehabilitation of firework fingers (Jason Pierre-Paul).

The Giants possess both the necessary cap space and undying need for defense. Their early Easter presents will be on full display in Super Bowl 50.

Safe and spectacular SB50 viewing, Giants and NFL fans alike. Cash in on the league’s ninth-worst 50-1 odds for next year, and in the meantime hope for Ted Ginn Jr.’s best impression of David Tyree.
