4. Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State, Red Shirt Jr.

Steve Serby of the New York Post jokingly noted, Ogbah was “Best Nigerian pass rusher available, a 6-foot-4, 275-pounder with long arms and 10 fingers.”

Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller projected Ogbah to the Giants back before the season ended when Big Blue was headed for the 12th pick overall, stating:

"“…he’s a Steve Spagnuolo type of player with outside speed and good power to counter offensive tackles. Ogbah can play immediately, too, making him an impact pick in the middle of the first round—something the Giants will need if JPP leaves.”"

From DraftCoundown.com:

"“Ogbah is exactly the type of big, long-armed, powerful pass rusher that the Giants organization tends to look for. Ogbah isn’t a finished product and can be inconsistent but he possesses all of the tools required to be a very good all-around starter at the next level.”"

Ogbah’s ability to play immediately might be his greatest attribute. It’s so rare that the Giants draft defensive players and give them a lot of snaps the first couple seasons. Devon Kennard and Landon Collins got their opportunity because of injury.

From Pro Football Focus:

"“Ogbah graded right behind (Joey) Bosa and (Shilique) Calhoun as a pass rusher (+35.1) after picking up 11 sacks, 16 hits, and 42 hurries on 428 rushes. He’s not as strong against the run but he has the length to get better in that area. He’ll add some much-needed youth to the Giants’ pass rush.”"

Pairing Ogbah with fellow Nigerian Owa Odighizuwa could result in nightmares for opposing quarterbacks.
