Offensive Line: Mitchell Schwartz

The class of offensive guards for Giants free agency concerns is deeper with or without Kelechi Osemele. Take your pick, whether it’s a Brandon Brooks or Jeff Allen type inexpensively living out upside, or another veteran logging 16 games worth of minutes at minimum.

As there are less tackles to fool around with, Schwartz needs to be New York’s top free agent priority on offense.

The franchise should not feel entirely comfortable with Marshall Newhouse as starting right tackle come summer camps. Schwartz is advocated as a reliable force in pass protection hailing from the Cleveland Browns, and at 26 years old he can imaginably stick around just as long as Flowers and the other recent high-round picks.

The move would more relaxingly shift experiment Bobby Hart into the adjacent guard spot, and fans can finally witness a Schwartz specimen supplanted in their offensive line with his brother’s tenure never catching fire.

New York’s defensive prospects are more crucial to rejuvenate at this time, but if interest is reciprocated by Schwartz, that’s a football move anyone would defend.
