More from NY Giants All-Time Lists

Of Eastern Kentucky alumni to play in the NFL, Bratzke has the second highest career approximate value behind Pittsburgh Steelers tackle John Jackson.

In five seasons with the G-Men, Bratzke started 42 of 50 games played, forcing a couple fumbles and recovering five, while adding 19.5 sacks plus 171 combined tackles. Ib 1996, Bratzke led the defense with a couple fumble recoveries and was tied for the team lead in sacks with Michael Strahan at 5 apiece.

In 1997, Bratzke tied for the team lead on defense with a pair of fumble recoveries, despite only playing in 10 games. The following season, Bratzke was second to Michael Strahan in sacks with 11 sacks. Chad was fifth in solo tackles and third in assists.

We listed Bratzke as one of the top draft steals of the ’90s. Chad was also a member of two of the best Giants defenses since 1986: 1996 and 1997.
