Jack Doyle is a physically imposing tight end who could be the perfect player for the New York Giants. Standing at 6’6″ and 258 pounds, Doyle broke out with Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts in 2016.

The sample size of strong production is limited to one season, but Doyle may be the most intriguing tight end on the open market based on youth, size, and upside.

The 26-year-old Doyle had five games with at least five receptions and nine with at least four catches in 2016. He exceeded 50 receiving yards in five different outings and did an excellent job of finding himself open when plays broke down.

Though not the most exceptional player after the catch, Doyle can help the Giants move the chains by helping Eli Manning work the short and intermediate games.

Doyle isn’t a great blocker, but he does an acceptable job of helping his running backs. He has the size and strength to consume linebackers, which creates the foundation for his development into a more consistent player in that capacity.

Though he’s expected to re-sign with the Indianapolis Colts, Doyle is the type of upside talent whom the Giants can confidently sign to a long-term deal.
