Evan Engram Package

A second change to the 11 personnel package could be to split first-round pick Evan Engram out wide. He then could be run as a big-bodied wide receiver. Allowing Engram, along with Brandon Marshall and Ellison, to inline block could bolster the rushing attack. Could it be that our run game could finally hit its stride (no pun intended)?

Keep in mind, when Beckham is in the game, defenses have to shade to his side of the field. The thought is to have Beckham work the wide side of the formation and continue to stretch the defense. They would have to cover an enormous amount of real estate that way.

In other packages, Shepard could be swapped in for Engram and require defense to guess which play is coming. The offense would become less predictable.
