The Associated Press named Lock first-team All-SEC quarterback this week after breaking the Southeastern Conference’s single-season record for touchdown passes. Missouri’s 6-foot-4, 224-pound quarterback leads the FBS with 43 touchdown passes this season and led the Tigers on a six-game winning streak down the stretch.

ESPN’s Mel Kiper has Lock listed as the ninth best quarterback on his top 10 quarterback prospects list, but Missouri’s junior quarterback did not crack Miller’s top 10. Lock clearly has the arm and size to compete at the next level, but there are questions regarding his accuracy and ability to work through his progressions, according to Campbell.

Lock may elect to return to Missouri next season. But he does have the foundation and potential to develop into a future franchise quarterback at the next level. A strong combine performance and impressing evaluators in interviews could spike his draft value should he decide to forego his senior year.
