While offensive line should remain New York’s top priority this offseason, Big Blue will also likely look to add another running back to their backfield either through free agency or the draft. The Giants finished the 2017 season ranked 26th in terms of rushing yards, which is only three spots ahead of where they finished in 2016.

Of course, fixing the offensive line will help their ground game, but that doesn’t mean Gettleman won’t look to add a young running back to the roster in the upcoming draft. The College Football Playoff title game will feature four future NFL running backs but only three crack this list.

Michel may be the most versatile of the three running backs. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound tailback has amassed 3,515 rushing yards, 621 receiving yards, and has scored 39 touchdowns during his collegiate career.

The Bulldogs running back played a crucial role in Georgia’s Rose Bowl win, picking up 222 yards of total offense and scoring four touchdowns. Miller ranks Michel the fifth best player at his position and labels him the “biggest sleeper” among running backs.

Georgia’s senior running back surely helped his draft stock with his performance on New Year’s Day, and many fans and analysts are anxious to see what the Bulldogs backfield can produce against Alabama on Monday night.
